The voice of the heart can be heard through a gentle feeling or as a sense of which way to go.
It reveals itself as a vivid dream, as synchronicity or in just plain words.
It can be as subtle as a soft nudge.
There's a voice that doesn't use words. Listen. -Rumi
Our inner voice or Divine guidance provides direction and assistance from the source of all universal wisdom.
It is always positive and light-filled. It will never lead us to do anything that is negative or destructive, as our soul’s wisdom only operates on a plane of love.
It's Divine teamwork at its best.
But you already know this.
Perhaps that's why this simple quote was the most shared of all the daily EDS quotes this month on social media:
Listen to the heart. It always knows.
And the majority of comments said something like, "Yes, it does!"
It resonates with our souls because it's built right in to all of us - the knowing that when we surrender our "small mind" and listen from a higher perspective, we are guided to the right solutions.
We've got a sacred internal GPS that is always "recalculating."
Perhaps you wonder, as I do, if the inner voice is my voice or that of a guide, an angel, a deity or God.
It's my belief that it can be any or all of these possibilities.
If our pure consciousness, or soul, is connected to all things, then we can access loving information from a wide variety of sources.
Practice listening to your intuition, your inner voice; ask questions; be curious; see what you see; hear what you hear; and then act upon what you know to be true. These intuitive powers were given to your soul at birth. -Clarissa Pinkola Estés
Each of us must ask for guidance from a deeply personal place in alignment with our most precious beliefs. There is no one right way, only the right way for you.
It’s important not only to listen to the inner voice in order to receive the message, but also to listen to what you are being guided to do and act upon it.
The more we act on our guidance, the more it flows.
So listen to the heart. It always knows the way. But I think you knew that already.
In The World:
Listen for your inner voice in every decision today. Silently ask spirit to lead. Then gently listen for direction. Let it be easy.
Ask your more important life questions during your spiritual practice when your mind is quieter. Your meditation practice will calm your mind and enhance your ability to hear and to feel on a higher vibrational plane. Remain open for answers and clues that may come in unusual ways. Trust and act on the guidance received.
Use your journal to collect stories about guidance requested and insights received. They will become uplifting and powerful reminders to look back on.
In The Heart:
I open to my highest wisdom and receive clear guidance. I follow the lead of my heart.
